Daisy Castro is a first-generation Latina, born and raised in Los Angeles. A lifelong learner with a passion for language and advocacy, she earned a B.A. in Spanish Language before pursuing a law degree. Initially on a pre-med track, Daisy shifted her focus to law and discovered a strong affinity for litigation.
While in law school, she became certified in family mediation and served as a Law Clerk at Nationwide Insurance, where she honed her skills in discovery and issue spotting. Her legal training continued at a multi-discipline firm, where she appeared in bankruptcy and criminal court as a certified law clerk under the guidance of a name partner.
After law school, Daisy returned to Los Angeles and built a broad foundation in bankruptcy, civil litigation, family law, and personal injury (plaintiff) before transitioning into defense work. During her early years on the plaintiff side, she played a key role in securing major outcomes, including a $1.5M settlement for a client with a head injury and a $4M verdict in a premises liability case.
With a leadership background in workers’ compensation defense spanning more than eight years, Daisy launched Legal Daisy® to provide strategic, experienced representation to employers across industries. Her bilingual fluency in Spanish allows for direct, nuanced communication with Spanish-speaking clients and witnesses—eliminating translation delays and improving case outcomes.
Outside of her legal practice, Daisy is a dedicated marathon runner who brings the same discipline and endurance to her caseload. She has represented national corporations, municipalities, small businesses, and uninsured employers, and regularly presents to risk managers, carriers, and claims professionals.
